PERFORMANCE CHECKLIST

Puppet Shows and Workshops are available for schools, before and after school care, vacation care, pre-schools and various other children’s groups.

Workshops

Puppet-making and/or Manipulation Workshops are available, either on the day of the show or as a series of lessons independent of a show. This is a popular way to engage students in a hands-on activity based on puppetry and enhances links with your programs in the classroom.

Venue

An enclosed venue such as a performing arts centre, library, double classroom, hall, gymnasium or undercover area.

Performance Space

An area of 5m x 5m is required for the puppet booth etc. Ensure audience seating area is approximately 2m away from puppet booth.

Power

A 240v power point is required.

Set up time

Access to the venue is required 60 minutes prior to the performance.

Performance Duration

Show: 45 - 55 minutes. Allow extra time for Puppet-making or Manipulation Workshops.
